Gabriel Bortoleto will join Sauber (soon to transition to Audi) for the 2025 season, marking the return of a full-time Brazilian driver to Formula 1 since 2017. At 20, Bortoleto has rapidly ascended the motorsport ladder, clinching the FIA Formula 3 Championship title in 2023 and leading the Formula 2 standings in 2024. His signing is part of Sauber's strategy to infuse young talent into the team as it prepares for its transformation into an Audi factory team in 2026.
